Weather Update for Jammu and Kashmir Heatwave Conditions to Break
16 Sept:
Moderate to heavy rain showers are expected in parts of Jammu region (chances 80%).
In Kashmir region, rain showers are possible. Maximum possibility will remain in the morning hours. Overall chances 50%.
17 Sept:
Rain showers are possible in Jammu as well as Kashmir. Chances for Jammu = 70% and Kashmir = 60%
18 Sept:
Possibility of rain showers in some parts of:
Jammu region = 60%
Kashmir region = 35%
19 – 24 Sept:
Mostly dry and sunny weather is expected, although a few areas, particularly in Jammu region, may receive morning showers.
Note: The conditions for day to day may vary, however, it is very likely that the current heatwave conditions will end completely.
