Weather Update: J&K to Witness Light Snowfall, Cold and Dry Conditions to Prevail
Srinagar, Dec 11: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has issued a weather update for Jammu and Kashmir, predicting generally cloudy weather with light snowfall over isolated higher reaches during the evening and night of December 11.
According to the forecast, the weather is expected to remain generally dry from December 12 to 20, with no significant weather activity predicted till December 20.
The Meteorological Centre has also issued an advisory, warning of cold and dry weather prevailing over many stations in the region during the next 10 days.
In view of sub-freezing temperatures and icy conditions over roads of important passes and higher reaches, tourists, travelers, and transporters have been advised to follow administrative and traffic advisories.
