JKSSB Extends Application Deadline for Junior Engineer (Electrical) Posts – Apply by April 14, 2025.

 

 

JKSSB Announces Schedule for OMR-Based Written Examinations for Constable Posts The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has officially announced the schedule for Optical Mark Recognition (OMR)-based written examinations for various Constable posts, including SDRF/IRP/Executive, Telecommunication, and Photographer. These exams are scheduled as follows: Constable (SDRF/IRP/Executive): 1st December 2024 Constable (Telecommunication): 8th December 2024 Constable (Photographer): 22nd December 2024 The examinations will be conducted in a single session from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM across all districts of Jammu and Kashmir. Guidelines for Conduct of Examinations District and divisional administrations have been directed to extend their cooperation to ensure the smooth, transparent, and hassle-free conduct of these exams. Key arrangements include: Deployment of Personnel: Observers, Centre Superintendents, Invigilators, and adequate police personnel for frisking will be appointed as per the prescribed ratio. Videography: Critical activities, such as the opening of question booklets and packing of OMR sheets, will be recorded. Transportation: Secure transportation of examination materials to and from strong rooms will be arranged under strict security. Remuneration and Miscellaneous Items: Payments to personnel and procurement of required materials will adhere to approved rates. The detailed list of examination venues and district-wise schedules has been enclosed as annexures and shared with divisional administrations in Kashmir and Jammu. The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has officially extended the last date for submission of online application forms for the UT/Divisional Cadre posts of Junior Engineers (Electrical). This extension is in reference to Advertisement Notification No. 02 of 2025 dated 27.02.2025, issued for vacancies in various Corporations of the Power Development Department.

Originally, the deadline for online applications was set as April 7, 2025. However, in response to numerous representations from aspiring candidates requesting more time, the board has decided to extend the deadline to April 14, 2025.
